HOLY KAILASH TO HUMLA CAMPING TREK
18 Days Trek: Journey To Holy Kailash & Trek Through The Remote Humla Valley In Nepal
This extraordinary journey takes you to Tibet's mythical Mount Kailas and Lake Manasarovar and then through the hidden Humla valley in Nepal's westernmost Tibetan frontier. Starting from Kathmandu we travel overland west along the mighty Zangpo river and over high passes to reach Mt. Kailas. This holy mountain is revered by Hindus, Buddhist, Jains and Bonpos as the center of the universe. Once there we will make the ¡®kora¡¯ (holy-circuit) trek of the mountain, sharing the trail with many other pilgrims that head for Kailas during the summer months. Afterwards we will camp by the banks of lake Manasarovar and then head south to cross the Tibet-Nepal border into Humla. Once over the Nara Lagna pass we get 'over the hump' and south of the main Himalayan range to trek down the Karnali river, through alpine meadows, ancient villages and forested valleys to end with a flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj in the Nepal¡¯s Terai lowland. This exclusive journey is made for travelers in search for a cultural and spiritual odyssey amidst mountain splendor.

REMOTE ROUTE TO EVEREST CAMPING TREK
25 Days Trek: A Legendary Trek Up Nepal's Little Explored Arun Valley To Everest Base Camp.
This trek, to Nepal’s remote and seldom seen wild west, is possibly one of the best long treks in the Himalaya. This follows the route taken by Peter Matthiessen and immortalized in his famous book The Snow Leopard. The Dolpo area was also the area where Rodney Jackson, a naturalist, conducted his study on the elusive snow leopards which became the subject of a National Geographic article and a book - Vanishing Tracks. This trek offers one of the remotest terrain, natural grandeur and Buddhist villages few westerners have yet visited. Starting by following the tropical Mayagdi Valley the trail crosses several high passes before getting to Tichurong and the Buddhist enclave of Dho and then to the famous Phoksumdo Lake (near where Matthiessen spotted his snow leopard) before swinging back to Dunai and ending with the flight out of Juphal to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu. A trek for those looking for some serious trekking.

THE GREAT KANCHANJUNGA CAMPING TREK
25 Days Trek: To North & South Base Camps Of The Third Highest Mountain
At 8,598m/28,172ft Kanchanjunga, is the third highest peak in the world. It lies in a sensitive restricted area astride the Nepal/ Sikkim border, only a few miles from Tibet. Our trip will head for the Shangri-La of the Yalung glacier immediately to the south of Kanchanjunga. Our journey starts with a trek over the Mahabharat Lekh range with majestic views of both the Everest and Kanchanjunga massifs and the Arun Valley between them. Recently this beautiful unspoiled region has been designated a conservation area. Our route gradually limbs through the rich farmland of the Limbu people famous for their distinctive tall 'topi' or caps to the upland Buddhist communities whose inhabitants have their origins in Tibet. We trek through richly cultivated hillsides, Rhododendron forests and yak pastures below the glacier. On higher ground we may see musk deer or blue sheep on the crossing from north to south base camp. The return route heading west passes through some of the delightful villages of Taplejung. The panoramic views of Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjunga are magnificent on the easy walk down to the road head.
