Highlights: This route explores some of the least visited areas of Bhutan before continuing on to Tashiyangste following the ancient caravan route across. The landscape is spectacular with stark cliffs and gorges and dense coniferous forests. The region is notably famed for its weavers and special textiles & fabrics. Climbing through temperature forest with abundance of wildlife (including several types of Pheasant) and in the spring time the flowers and bird life make this trek a sheer delight.
